Auragin FAQ

What is in my Auragin tablets, exactly?

Auragin is made from 100% pure Korean red ginseng root, with no additives, preservatives, or any other ingredients added. The roots are preserved using a traditional process of steaming and drying, ground into powder, and then the powder is compressed into tablets. No binding ingredient is used in the process.

What is the best way to take Auragin?

Since the benefits of ginseng come from long-term use, you’ll get the most out of Auragin by taking it daily. Try starting with 3 tablets before breakfast, because you will absorb it faster on an empty stomach. Those with a sensitive stomach may prefer to take it with food instead. But don’t worry. It will still work fine.

Over time, if you want a stronger effect, you can increase the dosage to 6 tablets per day. Some people prefer to take all 6 at once, while others prefer to take 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon.

What do people take Auragin for?

According to our customer feedback, the main reasons are for 1) an energy boost, 2) more mental focus, 3) enhanced sexual performance, and 4) to improve their mood. A smaller percentage report taking it for its benefits to the immune system.

If you're interested in the research that has been done on the various benefits of ginseng, one of the better overviews we've found is on the University of Maryland Medical Center's website.

If I’m looking for a herbal remedy to help me in the bedroom, is Auragin my best bet?

This is a tricky issue, as the FDA forbids herbal supplement companies from making claims that their products can cure medical conditions like erectile dysfunction, which frequently affects tens of millions of men in the US alone.

Suffice to say, ginseng is known to enhance libido and sexual energy, and Auragin is at least as effective as any other ginseng on the market in this respect. In our opinion, it’s much more effective than pretty much every other product.

There are other natural herbs used in Asia and the US to enhance sexual energy - for example, horny goat weed (epimedium), L-arginine, tongkat ali, schisandra, and tribulus terrestris - so it would behoove you to do your own research on this.

Our advice is: please read some of the reviews of Auragin on Amazon.com and give it a try, safe in the knowledge that if it fails to meet your expectations, we will fully refund you (that’s how confident we are).

Moreover, unlike many questionable and even dangerous products out there masquerading as something they are not, Auragin is 100% safe.

Will Auragin help with my anxiety issues or feelings of depression?

Again, we would have to refer you to Google and the reviews of Auragin on Amazon.com for a more flushed-out answer to this question, as FDA rules limit what we can say.

But people who use ginseng, including our customers, have reported that it helped elevate their mood in cases where other drugs, including in some cases prescription drugs, have failed.

Suffice to say, ginseng is widely known as an adaptogenic herb that can reduce levels of the stress hormone cortisol, and Auragin is one of the most pure and potent forms of ginseng on the market. At least one of our Amazon customers has referred to it as “a little miracle”.

How long will it take to feel the effects?

It varies from person to person. A lot of people notice a boost in focus and energy immediately, while for others it can take a month or two of consistent daily use to notice a difference. In general, the effects of ginseng build up over time, so the effects are more noticeable after a month or two. In one study on fatigue, a greater improvement was noticed after 8 weeks of treatment than after 4 weeks.

What if I don't notice any effects after a few weeks?

Don’t worry, it often takes a while for herbal remedies to accumulate in your body before they dispense their full impact. If you still don’t feel anything after 8 weeks of taking 3 tablets a day, try upping your dosage to 6 tablets (1,800 mg of ginseng) a day.

The effects can be quite subtle at first, then one day you may notice how you jump out of bed wide awake 15 minutes after taking your morning dose, or feel a sudden jolt of energy while working out. You may be surprised at how the anxiety that was haunting you an hour or two ago just melted away for “no reason”, or how that brain fog evaporated without you even realizing it.

The thing is, ginseng affects people in different ways, and more research is needed to determine why. One leading theory claims that it’s related to adrenal fatigue, so it depends on the condition you’re in when you take it. For example, if your body is run down and badly needs rest, it may help you sleep even if you have previously been experiencing difficulties sleeping. It’s pretty amazing.

Moreover, other drugs can mask the effects of Auragin, so if you are a heavy smoker, or drink a lot of alcohol or coffee, try cutting back and see what happens.

Also bear in mind that, even though you can’t feel it, Auragin is constantly working “behind the scenes” to strengthen your immune system and protect your health.

That being said, a small minority of people seem not to notice the effects of ginseng at all, which is why we have our unrivaled 1-year, full-money-back satisfaction guarantee. So if you're not happy with Auragin for any reason, contact us at support@auraginhealth.com and we'll issue you a full refund on your first bottle—you don't even need to return the bottle!

Why is Auragin more expensive than other ginseng brands I’ve seen?

Simply put, because we’re the real deal. We only use the highest-quality 6-year roots, and these are very expensive for us to buy at the source. We also refuse to cut corners or short-change our customers by filling Auragin with a tiny amount of root, while making up the rest with cheap fillers and other useless gunk.

Each Auragin tablet is 100% pure Korean red ginseng from the best cultivated roots you can buy. As for those cheaper products, we’ll leave it up to you to figure out why they’re cheaper, and what results you can expect from them.

Do I need to "cycle" Auragin, or can I take it continuously?

Several American websites claim that ginseng needs to be cycled, and that it should not be taken continuously. However, we are not aware of any scientific or traditional basis for this claim.

We have looked through the scientific literature, and can't find any evidence that cycling is either necessary nor beneficial.

In Korea, most people do take ginseng long-term without cycling, and many studies have looked at the long term benefits of daily ginseng use over the course of several months or years. Our co-founders have both been taking Auragin daily for the past 3 years, and they still swear by it!

Our best advice would be to experiment and see what works best for you. If you still see benefits from taking it daily, we don't see any need to cycle. But if you feel like the effects are not as strong as they used to be, or if you're experiencing negative side-effects, maybe try cycling off for a few weeks and see if that makes a difference.

How and where is Auragin manufactured?

Our ginseng is grown in some of the best conditions in the world, in a valley tucked in remote mountains in South Korea. We only use the finest 6-year roots with a minimum ginsenoside content of 8%.

While we would love to share details of where exactly our farms and factories are located, this would compromise our competitive advantage (a.k.a. our golden goose). We have not found any other farms in Korea or China that can produce to this level of quality, so for the moment at least, our lips are sealed.

So is Auragin a synthetic product? How is it different from wild-grown ginseng

Auragin is a grown on a farm in conditions that closely mirror how ginseng grows in the wild. In fact, wild ginseng grows nearby our farm, but it is protected by the government because it has been harvested to near-extinction in many places and is fast becoming an endangered species.

What we offer is incredible value for money considering that good-quality wild ginseng is prohibitively expensive (10 times the price of Auragin), while the difference in quality between that and Auragin is minimal.

While we only use the finest 6-year roots, similar roots that have grown in the wild for the same length of time would be considered “hardier” because they have managed to survive so long without any protection or pesticides. As such, their ginsenoside content / ratio should be slightly higher / stronger.

What are ginsenosides exactly, and how do they work?

In a nutshell, these are the active compounds in ginseng that are responsible for its health benefits. There are over 100 of them in a single ginseng plant, but more are located in the root. Even though their effects are still being studied, different ginsenosides are believed to be responsible for different healing properties. That’s why we insist on using the full root and keeping the ginsenosides in their natural ratio - so you get to enjoy all of the benefits.

Auragin contains a minimum of 8% ginsenosides, which means that a single serving of three tablets (900 mg of ginseng), contains 72 mg of ginsenosides. Most other ginseng supplements have a ginsenoside content ranging from 0.1% to 4%.

Some brands artificially “bump up” their overall ginsenoside content by only using certain parts of the root where the ginsenosides are more concentrated. These products are known as “extracts”. But we consider this cheating, because they cut out all the other ginsenosides in the root that work wonders for your health. In effect, they are short-changing you.

Interestingly, ginsenosides are believed to be part of the ginseng plant’s natural defense mechanism against bugs and other predators. So in a way, we are using its natural armour to protect your health and make you feel better and stronger.

How do I know your claims about the quality of your ginseng are true and this isn’t just another scam? Where’s the proof?

We currently get our ginseng third-party tested in Korea. But as that may not mean much to our customers thousands of miles away in the US, we are now working with San Francisco-based testing agency Labdoor (www.labdoor.com).

Labdoor is one of the most respected testing agencies in the country for supplements and energy drinks. It only uses FDA-registered analytical laboratories that meet its strict selection criteria based on their expertise in food.

When is the best time of day to take Auragin?

Most people prefer taking it in the morning for an energy boost that lasts throughout the day. However, you can take Auragin at any time.

Will it negatively interfere with my sleep?

For most people, ginseng should not interfere with sleep even when taken later in the day (except when taken in very high doses). Some studies even report improved sleep quality from taking ginseng.

Can I take Auragin with coffee or caffeine?

Yes, many people like to take Auragin with their morning coffee. Others love the fact that Auragin gives them a “cleaner” or better-quality energy boost than coffee, but without the jitters and subsequent crash, thus helping them to kick the habit.

It’s worth bearing in mind that some studies suggest taking ginseng with stimulants like caffeine can amplify their effects. Side effects may include nervousness, difficulty sleeping, or an irregular heartbeat.

Can I take Auragin with other supplements?

Again, this is slightly outside our area of expertise, as we are not certified medical professionals. In general, ginseng is considered safe, but the best advice we can give is to consult with your doctor or nutritionist first if you have any concerns about this

We do know that one member of our team was taking very high amounts of L-Glutamine, and he reported feelings of dizziness and mild nausea when combining this with Auragin, but when he scaled back on the former he was fine.

Are there any prescription drugs that should not be combined with Auragin?

There is research suggesting that ginseng may interact with diabetes drugs, hormone therapy drugs, calcium channel blockers and central nervous system drugs, although the mode of action is unclear. If in doubt, please consult your physician.

Are there any negative side effects from taking Auragin?

Ginseng is considered safe for most people, and side effects are not common except when administered in very high doses. But we aren’t certified medical professionals, so we aren’t qualified to give medical advice.

If you are taking any other medications, please consult your physician before taking Auragin, just to be on the safe side.

Here is a list of the negative side effects reported by some people who have taken ginseng (not necessarily Auragin) in the past: agitation, diarrhea, headaches, nervousness, trouble sleeping.

If this is your first time taking Auragin and you experience any mild side effects, your body may just need time to adjust. In such cases, we would recommend you first lower the dosage to 1 tablet a day and see if they subside. Then you can slowly build up to 3 tablets a day, giving your body time to get used to it. If the side effects persist, stop taking Auragin and speak to your doctor.

In the unlikely event you experience symptoms of a severe allergic reaction (rash, hives, itching, difficulty breathing, tightness in the chest, swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue), you should discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention.

Does Auragin contain gelatin? Is Auragin vegetarian/vegan friendly?

Since Auragin is not a capsule, it does not contain any gelatin (or any other filler ingredients for that matter), and safe for vegetarians and vegans to consume.

Auragin is simply made from 100% Korean red ginseng root, with no additives, preservatives, or other ingredients. The roots are preserved using a traditional process of steaming and drying, ground into powder, and then the powder is compressed into tablets.

Is Auragin gluten free?

Ginseng itself does not contain gluten, and our tablets are 100% ginseng. However, we are not yet able to afford our own tablet factory, which means we can’t guarantee gluten products weren't made in the same factory or machinery.

As such, we cannot certify our product as gluten-free at this time. Some day hopefully, we will!

In the meantime, we can guarantee that our products are 100% ginseng :)

Is Auragin safe for use by pregnant women?

While a number of leading studies show ginseng can relieve the symptoms of menopause in older women, not enough research has been done into its effects on pregnant women, or women who are breast-feeding, to endorse their use of it.

Some doctors even recommend pregnant women should avoid adaptogens altogether, so we suggest you speak with your physician first, just to be on the safe side.

How long can I keep my Auragin for before it expires?

Each bottle is good for at least two years from the date of purchase.

How can I trust this money-back guarantee you offer is legitimate?

Apart from the guarantee written on our website, we would refer you to the glowing reviews from customers both on our online store and on Amazon.com.

As you will see, many have been surprised at how we have given them more than they bargained for whenever they encountered a problem, even above and beyond the guarantee. We work hard to make sure your entire experience with us is positive, and we want you to be happy whether you remain part of the Auragin family or not.

Can I buy Auragin if I live outside the United States?

Right now we’re only shipping to orders inside the US, but this is likely to change soon. We’re currently looking into ways to ship to Canada, the UK and Europe, and we may later expand to other countries around the world. We feel that everyone should have access to the awesome benefits of Auragin. Please keep an eye on our website for updates on this issue. In the world of e-commerce, things can change quickly.

What can I do if my shipment fails to arrive on time?

Shipments for orders on Amazon.com are handled independently, meaning that any queries must be dealt with directly by Amazon.
